I’ve been a fan of the new items at Dairy Queen over the last couple of years since they have added a toaster oven that is used for both making desserts and for baking off sandwiches. I have done reviews of a few of their items including the Chicken Bruschetta and most recently a review their new Artisan Philly Sandwich. Diary Queen has now added even more options to their DQ Bakes menu by adding snack items at all under $2. These snack items include snack wraps (which they have been available already for some time) and now the addition of Pretzel Sticks and Potato Skins. The Pretzel Sticks and Potato Skins are what intrigued me Continue reading “Dairy Queen – Soft Pretzels and Potato Skins”

When you think of Dairy Queen, you first think of all that wonderful ice cream. There is a huge selection of blizzards and sundaes and ice cream cakes that people enjoy every day. Some may even think about the DQ Chicken Strip baskets or cheeseburgers or very few maybe even think about DQ Breakfast, but I would have never believed DQ would be serving up what I am trying for you today. A Philly Steak Sandwich. I was shocked to see this on their menu but I had to Continue reading “Dairy Queen – Artisan Philly Sandwich”

The Dairy Queen Chicken Strip Basket was one of my go to’s when I was in my younger years. I’d do at least one of these a week and who could blame me? 6 pieces of chicken tenders, fries, and buttery toast paired with DQ gravy. I was in heaven when I had one of these sitting in my lap. It’s been years since I’ve had one of these at this point, but today is going to be the day I’m changing that around. I hold before you, the Dairy Queen Continue reading “Dairy Queen – Chicken Strip Basket”

My Kryptonite? Ice cream! Man I love me some ice cream and around here it doesn’t get much better than a Dairy Queen blizzard. There was a time I was downing a couple large blizzards a week but nowadays it very few and far between and are saved only as a special treat. The Royal Blizzards are able to be purchased three different ways. Oreo with a fudge center, New York Cheesecake with a Strawberry Center, and Rocky Road Brownie Blizzard with a Marshmallow center.

Dairy Queen Pacific Cod Sandwich

This sandwich has been sitting on the DQ menu for a couple of months now but I hadn’t had a chance to order it yet. Lent has come and gone and this was still hanging around so I figured it was going to be leaving soon so I gave it a chance today. It only came with lettuce and tartar sauce so I added tomato to the sandwich for $.25. If you know my McDonalds McChicken review, I like to add tomato when I can. I think it makes for a more filing and enjoyable sandwich.
